We built FaasHaus around a simple belief: the people who understand the problem should be the people helping you solve it.
Jim and Kat met while working at an agency in New York. They became known internally as the “Dynamic Duo” because they could step into difficult digital projects together and get them done.
That was not branding. It was what happened when Jim’s ability to make complex technology clear, stable, and real met Kat’s ability to connect business strategy, customer experience, and delivery.
After leadership roles—including CTO for Jim and VP of Technology for Kat—across Rokkan, Razorfish, and other Publicis Groupe agencies, they founded FaasHaus in 2019 to preserve the best part of that partnership: two senior people, close to the work, solving the whole problem together.
Miami born and raised, Jim brings closer to three decades of engineering and technology leadership. He has spent his career turning difficult requirements into platforms that work—and helping teams find the calmest path through technical complexity.
He cares about the details users never see: architecture, performance, reliability, maintainability, integrations, and all the quiet decisions that make a product feel effortless.
Born and raised in Slovakia, Kat immigrated to the United States at age nine. A first-generation immigrant and female business owner, she brings roughly two decades of digital strategy, UX, development, and technology leadership.
She is at her best where customer needs, commercial priorities, creative ambition, and delivery constraints all have to become one coherent plan. She asks the uncomfortable useful questions early, makes the complex understandable, and keeps the work anchored to what the business actually needs to change.
Across prior agency and leadership roles, Jim and Kat have contributed to digital work for organizations spanning automotive, hospitality, finance, healthcare, consumer goods, technology, and more.
Large agencies can do impressive work. Jim and Kat know; they helped lead it for major global and Fortune 500 brands.
But the conventional model often puts distance between the people who sell the thinking and the people who deliver it. FaasHaus operates differently. The founders own the decisions. Communication is direct. Context stays intact. Clients are not sold senior expertise and quietly handed to a junior delivery team.
Small is not a limitation here. It is how the work stays sharp, accountable, and human.
